Washington contains an almost unbelievable variety of climates and topography. Rivers, lakes, ocean, mountains and fields adorn this unique state. Some of the most popular destinations in Washington include the Hood Canal, Mount Rainer National Park, Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, the Olympic Peninsula, Pudget Sound and the San Juan Islands.
Seattle is a truly beautiful city, full of breathtaking vistas of water and mountains. It is the commercial, cultural and transportation hub of the state, yet maintains an easy Northwest energy that sets it apart from other big cities like Chicago or San Francisco.
Idaho is renowned for it’s breathtaking mountain ranges and its many lakes and rivers. 60 percent of Idaho is covered by forests and has over 30 state parks. Some of the most popular destinations include Hells Canyon and Craters of the Moon National Park.
Boise is the largest metropolitan area in a 300-mile radius and has many cultural offerings such as the University, a symphony orchestra, ballet and opera companies and many museums and art galleries.
Montana has a huge history that locals keep alive through modern day activities and pursuits. Full of mammoth mountains, wide, rolling prairies and big skies, it is still a frontier in many ways.
Helena is a city built with gold rush money, comprised of 19th Century architecture that takes visitors into a rich past. With a healthy arts and culture community, it is a cosmopolitan center on the open range.
