Bandon is a city in Coos County, Oregon, United States. It lies on the south side of the mouth of the Coquille River, where the river meets the Pacific Ocean. It was named by George Bennet, an Irishman who settled nearby in 1873 and named the town after his native home of Bandon, Ireland. Just 90 minutes west of Roseburg, OR and 90 miles north of the California border, it is a lovely spot for a romantic getaway.
