Boise Idaho Bed and Breakfast

Situated on I-84 not far from the Oregon border, Boise City, Idaho, sits at the southern tip of the vast Sawtooth Mountain Range. Boise is the capital of Idaho and the state's largest city; in fact, it is the largest city between Salt Lake City, Utah and Portland, Oregon. This makes it a great stop while vacationing at a number of areas in the region, from Hell's Canyon to Sun Valley, ID. The tree-lined Boise River Valley has long been a welcome site to travelers passing through the high desert region. Stay at a Boise bed and breakfast and stroll along the 25-mile river front greenbelt. If you are the adventurous sort, look into one of several whitewater rafting opportunities.
Long known for its large Basque community, and more recently welcoming immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa, Boise has a surprisingly cosmopolitan feel for a relatively small city out on the high plains. It boasts a ballet, a Philharmonic orchestra, and more than one film festival. Points of interest are the Basque Museum and Cultural Center, the Boise Art Museum, the Idaho Black History Museum, and the World Center for Birds of Prey. Check it out - you may be surprised at all that Boise has to offer.
