Located less than 10 miles south of Helena, the small town of Clancy Montana offers big opportunities for outdoor recreation. Park Lake, and alpine lake in the Helena National Forest, is at approximately 6500 feet above sea level, and is a magnificent spot for hiking and fishing.

If you are interested in history, be sure to visit the Jefferson County Museum in town. It has a lot of information on what life was like in Jefferson County in the nineteenth century, when folks were drawn here to mine, ranch, and build the railroad. Or, head west out of town for two miles and visit the ghost town of Lump Gulch.

Whether you enjoy the outdoors, or history, or both, be sure to stay in a Clancy Montana bed and breakfast while you explore all that this area has to offer.
