Blue Gull Inn
The Blue Gull Port Townsend Inn is appropriately named for the many Blue Gulls that sit atop the gabled roof and wait for the leftovers from breakfast! Along with one of Port Townsend’s oldest and largest trees, a giant Monterey Cypress, this grand old home has long been a gem in the heart of Port Townsend’s Historical Uptown District.
Our parlor is always available for our guests to relax and enjoy a homemade cookie and cup of tea, read a book, or look over the local restaurant menus we keep on hand, we also have wireless internet available to our guests.
We do a variety of country style breakfasts each morning at 9:00, often including our fabulous scones, which make it worth your while to get out of your comfortable bed. Warmth and hospitality await you in the large dining room with the garden view. This lovely room has a 12 foot dining table and will seat 12 to 14 people, and makes a great area for meetings, retreats and group gatherings.

Our Port Townsend Lodging opened in 1997, and was a new adventure for Renee and John, returning to Washington from the Chicago area. John is retired from management for the JCPenney company. He now works as a Real Estate Broker for John L. Scott Realty, and was Jefferson County Association of Realtors ’Realtor of the Year’ for 2004. Renee enjoys spending time quilting and traveling to favorite spots like Disneyland, Yellowstone National Park, and New Orleans!
