Blue Mountain B&B is nestled on the mountainside among majestic Ponderosa Pines and meditative water gardens, creating a uniquely tranquil experience just minutes away from Missoula’s business, sporting and cultural centers. The Inn and gardens offer a breathtaking, birds eye view of the Bitterroot River, surrounding mountains and valley below, including part of the historic Lewis and Clark Trail.

Elegant breakfasts and private rooms offer guests luxury and comfort, complementing the rustic, wooded surroundings of Blue Mountain.  Each unique room has a private bath with jetted tub, a lovely king or queen sized bed, picturesque views and many amenities that make one’s stay both memorable and relaxing.

Breakfast each morning will bring a delightful beginning to your day, with specialties such as delicate Swedish pancakes or huckleberry sourdoughs, individual tomato-herb souffles, elegant crab crepes, or even a hearty Montana breakfast of tender steak and fresh eggs. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining room or from a variety of garden decks, where views of the waterfall and pond, wild birds and mountains make an already delightful meal truly memorable!


A Room With A View: Four private guest rooms look out over the gardens, forest, surrounding mountains or valley below.  Each is furnished with a beautifully crafted, king or queen-sized bed with down comforter and quality linens.  A private bath with jetted tub and shower, an indoor and outdoor sitting area, TV and DVD systems, along with other amenities give each room a plush, yet comfortable and relaxing feel.  The name and decor of each room reflects in some way the flora, fauna, history and culture of the West and the Missoula area, in particular.

The Bitterroot Room: Amenities: Queen-sized pillow top log bed with hand-made quilt and down comforter, picture windows, private outdoor deck with bistro table, small indoor sitting area, beautifully tiled two-person whirlpool tub/shower, heated tile flooring, TV with DVD and music - $105.00 per night.

The Sagebrush Suite: Amenities: Spacious room with unique, hand-crafted queen log bed, pillow-top mattress and down comforter, large picture windows, private bath with heated tile flooring, lovely two-person jetted tub/shower combination, surrounded by tile, large sitting area with leather recliners, outdoor deck area (with private bistro table), large TV with DVD and music - $129.00 per night.
