Manzanita Oregon Bed and Breakfast

Manzanita, Nehalem and Wheeler are three little towns along Highway 101 just a couple of miles apart from one another. Manzanita is the largest of the three and sits right on the ocean. Nehalem is the oldest and is on the banks of the Nehalem River, and Wheeler overlooks Nehalem Bay. Each town has its own personality, and between the three of them you will find great restaurants, shops, and even a winery. Stay in Manzanita at a NW bed and breakfast, and explore all that the region has to offer.
Nehalem Bay is the perfect place for kayaks and other small boats; the sometimes fierce waters of the Pacific are calmer here. Or paddle up the Nehalem River and then let the tide pull you back to the shore. Along the coast there are miles of beaches to comb or experience on horseback, cliffs to climb and sand dunes to explore. Mountains loom to the east and make the area complete. It is the perfect place for a weekend getaway from the Portland area, or a week-long retreat.
